For this project I led content and data operations for Checkers’ initial digital menu board pilot across 10 locations, helping the brand establish the foundational systems and workflows required to move from print to digital. The pilot served as a proving ground for how digital menus could support more responsive promotions, improve operational efficiency, and create a more engaging drive-thru experience for customers.
The work required close collaboration across marketing, operations, and technology teams to translate Checkers’ promotional strategy and menu requirements into scalable digital logic. This included defining content rules, managing campaign calendars, and ensuring menu accuracy across locations, all while validating the platform’s ability to support future growth.
My work included:
Leading content and data management for Checkers’ first digital menu board pilot, spanning 10 locations and marking the brand’s transition from print to digital menus
Analyzing business, marketing, and operational requirements to define how menu content, pricing, and promotions should behave across the drive-thru experience
Managing promotional calendars and campaign schedules, ensuring accurate timing, sequencing, and alignment with marketing priorities
Configuring menu content and promotional logic to support dynamic updates, limited-time offers, and regional variation.
Owning QA and validation workflows to ensure content accuracy, pricing integrity, and consistent performance across pilot locations
Partnering closely with Checkers’ marketing and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, refine configurations, and optimize the drive-thru experience during live testing
The pilot successfully demonstrated how digital menu boards could transform Checkers’ drive-thru experience, enabling faster updates, more compelling promotions, and greater operational control than print menus allowed. By establishing the foundational content, data, and promotional workflows, the work helped position Checkers to scale digital menus across the brand, driving improved customer experience and creating new opportunities for revenue growth.
